New Jersey Civil Unions
Everyone wants to find that special someone, regardless of the sexual orientation. We all want to share our lives with people, as we are social creatures, all looking for a way to make it through this world. There are a lot of people who have found that this is something that’s a lot easier said than done, as trying to find someone can be a chore in and of itself. With that being the case, it’s very important that we spare no expense when we’re looking for that person, and once we find them, make sure that we can hold on to them. While this doesn’t mean that we should get all weird and creepy, we should definitely give the relationship a chance for working, as this person sincerely may be the “one.” Then, who knows, maybe you’ll get married some day.
We all know about the struggles gays and lesbians face when it comes to marriage. There’s always something on the news talking about it, and while we may not be there as a country yet, we still seem to be making some pretty good strides. The state of New Jersey is one of which a lot of people have found to be making the largest strides, as they allow for some civil unions that offer the same benefits and rights as straight couples. Of course, this is catching a little bit of heat, as some gay groups state that calling it anything less than a marriage is making light of the
situation.
